Responsibilities & Job Role

Do you have a keen interest in IT and Customer Support but have not had an opportunity to secure a suitable role, as yet?

Have you been helping your friends and family to sort out technical issues and wondered if this is enough to secure a role?

This is a customer-facing 1st Line Service Desk Analyst role, working at my client’s location in Birmingham providing the first point of contact to their varied user base for a wide variety of technology issues.

I am looking for an engaging and customer friendly candidate with a combination of excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a keen interest in IT and a willingness to learn to join an existing support team and help resolve a range of outstanding support issues whilst delivering a customer experience to be proud of.

The team already has a great reputation for customer service, so someone who is friendly, approachable and helpful, whilst being able to perform under pressure is important to add to their exemplary customer support record.

You will need some very basic IT knowledge but, if you are enthusiastic, eager and able to pick things up easily that would be an ideal starting point and there will be an opportunity to learn more.

Any previous experience in supporting Windows 10 / Office 365 / MS Teams / SmartPhones would be beneficial.

Required Skills

Key Skills/Experience:

  • A keen interest in IT and any previous experience in a Customer Service /  Helpdesk / IT support environment will be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office

The role is to start immediately, and we are screening candidates right now.

My Client’s site is easily accessibly by bus and train and parking is available (for a small daily charge).
