How do I become a SDI Member?

Becoming a ‘Community Member’ of SDI is now FREE!
Just register online today and create an account. Anyone can purchase an upgrade to ‘Premium Membership’ to receive exclusive, premium access, benefits, discounts and content to valuable ITSM resources, tools and opportunities.

How long does each training course last?

XLA – Half Day
Workshops -1 Day
ITIL®4 – 2 Days
Senior Analyst to Team Leader – 2 Days
Service Desk Analyst – 3 Days
Service Desk Manager – 4 Days

What courses have an exam with them?

The training courses that have an exam with them are the Service Desk Analyst (SDA) the Service Desk Manager (SDM) and ITIL®4.

How long does my exam voucher last?

Your exam voucher will be valid for 1 year from the last day of your training course.

What are the timings of the training courses?

Usual timings for our courses are below, but you should always check the confirmation email details before attending to be sure you are prepared:
XLA – 09:30 – 13:30
Workshop – 09:00 -16:30
ITIL®4 – 2 Days – 09:00 -16:30
Senior Analyst to Team Leader – 2 Days, 09:00 -16:30

How do I add people to my Premium Membership?

Login, find the team icon on the main page. Click on it and add the email address of anyone you wish to add. They will then be emailed and invite to generate their own login details.

How many people are covered under the Premium Membership?

Depending on what add on you get this can be either 5 or your whole team.

What is a Bolt On?

Premium Members can enhance and personalise their SDI Membership experience by choosing which perks, discounts and offers they want to add to their membership. These discounts, offers and products are called membership ‘Bolt-Ons.’

How much is the SDC programme?

For our full costs contact our team [email protected], the cost can vary depending on your requirements ensuring you get the most out of the programme.

How long does the SDC programme take?

It is possible to earn your Service Desk Certification and a star rating within 10 months if you exceed the minimum score required to earn Certified status.

Most organisations commit to two years to start off with, then remain in the SDC programme for varying times afterwards. Some companies have remained for 14 years.
