I have been an Associate Recruiter with SDI since 2015 developing their recruitment function – SDIR – into the service it is today. After an early career in IT Operations and Technical Support, I switched to technology recruitment and have specialised in the Service Desk and ITSM arena ever since. With 35+ years in recruitment, I have fine-tuned my ability to interpret a client’s needs when hiring and successfully identify candidates with the right mix of technical experience and soft skills to join their support teams quickly and effectively.

I still get the biggest buzz when working closely with hiring managers and potential employees, bringing together opportunities that result in successful placements for all parties. Understanding the client’s real requirements and identifying candidates with the relevant experience or untapped potential, guiding them through every step of the hiring process is still massively rewarding for me.

When I am not working, I enjoy playing golf, detailing cars and walking in the countryside with my wife and our dog.
