Dr. Mauricio Corona has a distinguished history in the IT Service Management (ITSM) industry and is recognised globally as one of the top 25 thought leaders in Technology and Service Management. His journey in ITSM began over a decade ago, marked by significant contributions to the field through his work as a senior consultant and international speaker, where he has delivered keynote speeches in more than 20 countries. In 2011, he founded BP Gurus®, a company dedicated to providing advanced digital transformation training and consulting services, covering areas such as AI, Big Data, and RPA, among others.
Dr. Corona’s involvement with the Service Desk Institute (SDI) started in 2018 when he was appointed to the Board of Directors and assumed the role of Chief Transformation Officer (CTO). In this capacity, he has been instrumental in shaping the future of service management on a global scale. Beyond SDI, he has held key roles, including being part of the Board of Directors of ACIS IT in Dubai and playing a significant role in the latest update of the ITIL® framework as one of its leading architects.
