With over 20 years in the IT service management industry, Steve has had the chance to work in various service management roles across different sectors, including technology, manufacturing, FMCG, and defence. His journey has been filled with diverse experiences primarily focused on creating service management functions which deliver high quality, consistent and pragmatic support.

In October 2023, Steve began independent service management consultancy with Barclay Rae and also started working with SDI. At SDI, he conducts assessments, Service Desk Certification audits, and consultancy, using his expertise to help organisations improve their service management practices and align with industry standards.

What he loves most about his work is connecting with people who are eager to improve. Moving into consultancy has given him the opportunity to help a broader range of individuals and organisations. Steve finds it incredibly rewarding to help clients solve their challenges and see them grow and succeed.
