Our client is seeking first line support / technical service desk analyst for a role based in its London office. The role calls for excellent customer service skills, first line technical support experience and the ability to work independently, supporting both London based users and providing remote support across other sites. In summary, a solid IT Service Desk Analyst – 1st Line Support role.

Ideally, ITIL qualified (although knowledge of the ITIL framework is sufficient) you will use your IT Support / Service Desk Analyst experience for the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality and accessible service and effective incident management.
  • • Work to Service Desk OLAs and SLAs
  • • Receive and log calls via the IT Service management tool
  • Manage Incidents, service requests and problems in-line with ITIL best practice processes and procedures.
  • Installation/reinstallation of software including the imaging/reimaging of computers and handled devices locally or using remote deployment tools.
  • • Full account setup and administration in line with security policies.
  • Perform daily administration duties to ensure process compliance.

  • • strong planning and organisational skills
  • • able to work to tight deadlines in line with a Service Level Agreement environment.
  • • excellent customer service skills and experience of following procedures and guidance.
  • • strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively on your own and in a team environment.
  • • good verbal and written communication skills.
  • • experience of using appropriate IT technology, methods, principles and equipment –environment is Windows 7 / Office365
  • • ITIL Certificate Foundation level is desirable
  • • ability to cover a shift rota between the hours of 07:30 to 18:00.
